Artur Lazoryk, Co-President
Artur is in his final year reading BSc Management. In the Polish Business Society he firstly served as a an Entertainment Officer then as a Treasurer and now as a Co-President. In between exploring insights from Microeconomics at the LSE, developing new start-up ideas and pursuing a career in business strategy, he is passionate about languages. Artur is proficient in 4 European languages and currently learning one from the Middle East. In the not too distant future Artur aims to completely redesign the business environment in the Eastern Europe.
Karol Kras, Co-President
BSc Social Policy
Ornithology and chess during the day, opera in the evening. If Karol wasn’t studying Social Policy at LSE, he would be the best molecular physicist in Poland. Library and gym are his second and third homes. He makes use of his creativity as a producer for Vice and improvisational theatre performer in BCA Flash. His favourite time of the year are elections – Karol enjoys late night discussions about life, death and politics.
Kinga Kitowska, Secretary and Logistics Director
BSc Mathematics and Economics
Kinga, being a second year student of BSc Mathematics and Economics, pursues her passion for finance and applied mathematics. Before moving to London, she lived in Gdynia, where she graduated from the 3rd Bilingual High School and completed her second grade music education with a violin diploma. She joined the LSE SU Polish Business Society as a Logistics Officer and then became its Secretary. Apart from trying to apply the mathematical power in an economic environment, Kinga is passionate about travelling and dancing.
Wojciech Zych, Treasurer and Sponsorship & Partnership Director
Wojciech’s adventure with the UK started in 2012 when he received a full international scholarship to study A-Levels in the UK. He is now in his second year of Law at LSE. When not digging in the endless case reports and legislative acts, Wojciech enjoys playing the church organ and being an educational consultant. As the Treasurer of the LSE SU PBS Team, Wojciech is responsible for managing the society’s budget and relations with partners and sponsors.
Aleksandra Gajewska, Speakers Director
Aleksandra is a third year law student at King’s College London and a future Trainee Solicitor at a London-based law firm CMS. As a Transatlantic Future Leaders Forum scholar, she spent her summer interning at the House of Representatives of the U.S Congress. She also runs a business producing fruit&veg crisps and empowering refugees to get into employment in the UK. In her free time she enjoys travelling and skiing.
Michał Wołangiewicz, Media Officer
LLM Corporate Law
Michał finished BA and MA Economics and MA Law at the University of Wroclaw. Now he is a postgraduate student of LLM Corporate and Commercial Law. He is interested in capital markets, CSR and fine arts. In his free time he writes comments for Polish edition of ‘Forbes’ and runs platform promoting yet of udiscovered artists: Salonou.com. He loves football and mountain biking. Apart from being a member of the LSE SU PBS he plays for the LSE Table Tennis team.
Małgorzata Hołowińska, Marketing Officer
Gosia is currently studying Management in her second year at LSE. She is from Włocławek and is the Marketing Officer for the Polish Business Society. She completed her A-levels in Dauntsey’s School in England, where she was also a member of the cheerleading team. Aside from her studies, Gosia enjoys to travel.
Krzysztof Stefanowicz, Speakers Officer
Krzysztof is a first year Law student at LSE. Born and raised in Warsaw, where he completed International Baccalaureate Programme. He has been particularly interested in attending court trials and debating, which resulted in him winning the Warsaw High School Moot Court in 2015. Currently, Krzysztof constantly participates in various moot courts and competitions for law students, as well as volunteers at Lawyers Without Borders organisation. As a member of the LSE SU Polish Business Society he is responsible for coordinating the registration process and inviting speakers for the Polish Economic Forum.
Paulina Znojek, Sponsorship & Partnership Officer
Paulina is a second year student at LSE. She is originally from Kielce where she completed her former education. She is interested in behavioural economics and the field in mathematics that combines creative and logical approach. Apart from that, she is a fashion lover and likes to engage in different types of sports. She enjoys dancing, which she started at age of 4, and recently joined LSE boxing club.
Victor Grotowski, Speakers Officer
MSc International Political Economy
Victor is responsible for the Speakers and Workshops. He holds a bachelor degree in Philosophy and Politics, has completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and last year worked in financial advisory in Poland. He is passionate about sports, especially tennis, which he represents the LSE in.
Karolina Światowska, Sponsorship & Partnership Officer
Karolina is a first-year undergraduate law student. Before joining LSE, she obtained her IB Diploma in Gliwice, Silesia. As a committed Francophile, Karolina studies French legal issues as an outside course. Besides languages, her interests include banking and finance, which is where she sees herself in the future. Additionally, she is a water sports enthusiast and a classical music lover. In LSE SU Polish Business Society, Karolina is involved in engaging prospective sponsors.
Thibaut Płomiński, Logistics Officer
After living eighteen years in Poland, Thibaut moved to France to study finance at Paris-Dauphine University and currently is completing his last year of studies at LSE. He has already completed three long-term internships: at Lazard (Paris), at BNP Paribas (London), and at Société Générale (Poland). Besides studying, Thibaut is keen on various sports including tennis and surfing
Hanna Horst, Workshops Officer
Hanna is a first-year Management student and is involved in the ‘workshops’ team. Hanna was born in Warsaw and has lived in Poland, France and Belgium. Her favourite sport, besides skiing and windsurfing, is golf where she became three times Belgian U18 team champion and was honoured by representing Poland in the U18 team.

Jan is a first year undergraduate Design student at Goldsmiths University London.
He is passionate about technology and fashion although he still hasn’t decided whether he wants to be the next Steve Jobs or Maison Margiela.
Barbara Sokołowska, Marketing Officer
BSc Business Management
Barbara is a first year undergraduate Business Management student at King’s College London. She was engaged in MUN conferences as both delegate and chair of World Trade Organisation Committee in Beijing and New York among others. In her free time she enjoys traveling.
Michael Fiedorowicz, Debate Officer
Michael is a General Course student on exchange at LSE for a year from Georgetown University. His academic interests revolve around moral/political theory, the law, and metaphysics. Last year, he put some of his philosophizing to use by working with the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty. Outside of his studies, he is a fan of ice hockey and an avid art consumer with a particular interest in film.
Magdalena Lemańska, Ball Officer

Born in Netherlands, raised in Poland, for her undergraduate studies Magda attended New York University Stern School of Business and University of Warsaw. Currently doing MSc Political Economy of Europe with the intention of pursuing a career in European Institutions. In her free time she enjoys Bikram Yoga and Horseriding.

Bartek, originally from Tricity, decided to move to Warsaw to study Finance and Banking at Koźmiński University. Having interned at Citi Investor Services Department, he became even more interested in the investment banking and wishes to build his career in this direction. Paulina Biernat, Logistics Officer
BSc Mathematics and Economics
Paulina, born and raised in Kraków, is a second year student of BSc Mathematics and Economics. Passionate about Asia, she is an Analyst of Asia and Oceania Developed Markets in the LSE Investment Equity Fund. She has been gaining a strong international business background, liaising with banks, corporations and artists, such as Shinji Ogawa. Paulina interned at the Sky plc in the Finance department, completed a research project in cooperation with Southwark Council and took part in State Street Mentoring Programme. In the future, she would like to work in consulting. She enjoys rowing, strength training and travelling.
Maciej Zasada, Chairman
Maciej, a former Co-President of PBS, is now serving as the Chairman. He is a third year law student with a particular interest in business and wishes to undertake a Masters in finance-related subject in a foreseeable future. In the meantime, he is actively involved in the LSE Fencing Club, representing LSE school in the university league.
Michał Heydel, Chairman
BSc Statistics and Finance
Now serving as the Chairman, Michal was the previous Co-President of the Society. He is a member of the Academy of the European Financial Congress. He is also a volunteer in the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Besides studying, Michał is keen on various sports; in winter he teaches as a skiing instructor and in summertime tries his skills in windsurfing.
